Do I need a Wedding Rehearsal?

Do I need a Wedding Rehearsal?

A question I am frequently asked by couples when planning their wedding ceremony: Do we need to book a rehearsal with you?

So my answer is always, well, yes and no. Basically it depends on your venue and on your comfort level of course.

Larger venues which hold a lot of wedding ceremonies often provide access to the venue prior to your wedding for your rehearsal. This is often included within the fee charged to hold your ceremony at that particular venue.

In addition, there will often be an experienced member of staff/event planner there to assist you with your rehearsal (a good idea to check if you are not sure); in that case, unless you specifically want us to be there, our attendance is not absolutely necessary.

So what about smaller venues? Other venues may provide access to you for an hour or so (without assistance of a staff member) to conduct your own rehearsal. In that case, you may want us there to assist you with your rehearsal. There is an additional fee of course for a rehearsal which is lower on Monday to Thursday and a little higher on Friday to Sunday.

Alternatively, you can run your own rehearsal if you wish at the venue or elsewhere.

In any event, rehearsals are ALWAYS recommended. You will definitely be glad that you took the time to rehearse for your special day when it actually happens!
